Former University of Detroit and Detroit Community guard Chase Simon will play professionally in Greece this season. According to EuroBasket, Simon signed with the Aris club team in September:

Chase Simon is the product of Detroit Mercy. As a senior he recorded 13.3ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.4apg last season. Together with his team they won Horizon League Tournament. In July “the Chicken” played 1 game for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Pro Summer League in Las Vegas. He scored 4 pointes and grabbed 2 rebounds.

At 6-foot-7, Simon is a big guard, especially by Europe standards. He’ll likely need to improve his outside shooting. He can hit the three, but he’s been a bit streaky in his career, shooting in the low-to-mid 30s during his college career.

He’s the third Titan from last year’s team to get a professional deal. Eli Holman will play in Israel and LaMarcus Lowe will play in Holland.
