Most high school basketball players have dreams of playing at the Division I level. For players on the Saginaw High team, they have a couple of resources who know what it takes to do just that. Hugh Bernreuter of the Saginaw News wrote about Tanoris Shepard and Josh Southern, who are both helping out coaching at the High this season:

“Josh works with our bigs at every level of our program … Tanoris works with the guards,” (Saginaw coach Julian) Taylor said. “They are both well-known here. You walk in the halls, and you see Josh’s picture on a state-championship team. You see Tanoris with a Final Four team. It’s great to have them on a coaching staff. They’re Division I players, but more important they’re Trojans. They know what it means to be a Trojan.”
