I’d wondered what former Flint Northwestern and Michigan State star and longtime NBA player Morris Peterson has been up to since we lost saw him on a NBA court in 2011. Turns out, he’s acting. Or at least acting in one movie. Peterson had a small part in the above film by Christian Keyes, himself a Flint native, Note to Self. Here’s the IMDb synopsis:

A “Coming of Age” Film in the Vein of “Love and Basketball” meets “Good Will Hunting”

Peterson talks about his role in Note to Self here:

Professional NBA player Morris describes Christian in basketball terms. ‘Christian’s like our point guard’, he says. ‘We come to him because he knows all the plays, he knows where God’s gonna be. And I use that to study for this and get ready for my role.’
