Bryn Forbes

Lansing Sexton grad Bryn Forbes, a freshman on the Cleveland State basketball team, has been named the Horizon League Newcomer of the Week this week. From the news release:

Forbes began the week with a career-high 18 points in a 69-63 win at Ball State on Wednesday (Nov. 28). Forbes hit 6-of-11 from the floor, including 4-of-8 from three-point. He had a stretch in the second half where he scored 15 of CSU’s 18 points in an 18-2 run that gave the Vikings the lead.

On Saturday, Forbes came back with 16 points in a 78-73 win over Toledo. He once again hit 6-of-11 shots from the field, including a pair of three-pointers.

Forbes is now averaging 8.8 points per game.
