Adrian’s Eric Lewis wins MIAA Player of the Week for second time this season

Adrian College sophomore Eric Lewis has been named MIAA Player of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks. From the news release:

Adrian guard Eric Lewis, a sophomore from Detroit (Communication and Media Arts HS), averaged 19.3 points and 4.3 steals per game as the unbeaten Bulldogs improved to 7-0 with three consecutive victories. He scored 23 points and added six steals in a 67-42 victory over Michigan-Dearborn, added 17 points and six steals in a 63-48 win over Mount Union, Ohio, and completed the week with 18 points and 11 rebounds as the Bulldogs defeated Carnegie Mellon, Pa., 62-51. Lewis, who  is being honored as Player of the Week for the second time this season and in his career, shot 55 percent (26 of 47) from the field for the week.
