Southfield Lathrup’s Roy Devyn Marble says his defense is improved
October 13, 2012 in Division I
Troy Hyde of Examiner.com covered Media Day for the Iowa Hawkeyes and had this report on former Southfield Lathrup standout Roy Devyn Marble:
The junior guard will move back to his more comfortable position this season as he expects to start and see most of his minutes at the off guard position.
Marble looked great in the short workout session that was open to the media. He is stronger, in better shape and says he will play better defense this year. His jump shot was falling Thursday, too.
Iowa remains one of the more intriguing teams in the Big Ten this season, and Marble’s development will play a big role in what, exactly, the Hawkeyes are able to accomplish this season.
