Former Saginaw Arthur Hill standout Jordan Hare, a freshman at the University of Rhode Island, was named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Rookie Team. From the news release:

Freshman Jordan Hare was named to the 2012-13 Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Rookie Team, in an announcement made at the conference’s annual men’s basketball media day, held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Hare, a 6-10 forward from Saginaw, Mich., was ranked as the 30th-best power forward and the 120th-best player in the country in the class of 2012, according to Rivals.com.
