August 28, 2012 in Professional
ESPN.com is doing its annual ranking of the top 500 players and incoming rookies in the NBA. You can see the experts who voted on the rankings here and follow the#NBARank hashtag on Twitter to discuss/debate the selections.
Detroit native Willie Green, who should bolster the Los Angeles Clippers’ 3-point shooting and defense next season, checked in at No. 308 in ESPN’s rankings heading into the season. One commenter on Twitter thought that was too low:

Earl Boykins, one of my all-time favorite college basketball players when he was at Eastern Michigan, was ranked at No. 331. Boykins, 36, is currently a free agent after playing eight games for the Houston Rockets last season.
Draymond Green, who one ESPN analyst expects to make a big leap in next year’s rankings, checked in at No. 334 in the rankings.
