Chris Allen‘s Michigan State career didn’t exactly end on a positive note, but he transferred to Iowa State, averaged 12.2 points per game in his lone season in Ames and now has positioned himself to have a pro career. Eurobasket reports that Allen has signed with Maccabi Ashdod in Israel:

Chris Allen is rookie who graduated at Iowa State University few months ago. He had 12.2 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 2.3 apg in 34 games as a senior. He transferred to Iowa State in 2010 from the Michigan State University. With Michigan State Allen reached NCAA Final Four two years ago.

The team also recently signed former VCU standout Jamie Skeen.
