Flint’s Olu Famutimi not playing in Summer League after all
July 17, 2012 in Professional
I was pretty excited when I saw former Flint Northwestern McDonald’s All-American Olu Famutimi on the Milwaukee Bucks’ Summer League roster, but it turns out, that excitement was a little premature. From the Bucks’ public relations office:
First #Bucks Summer League practice is underway. Olu Famutimi (Arkansas) and Vernon Goodridge (LaSalle) were late scratches from the roster.

Famutimi was a longshot at best to make the roster, but he’ll definitely get a job overseas somewhere if that’s what he’s looking for. He’s had solid stints in Turkey and France, among other places, as a pro.
